LBJ

Good move by LBJ.
Ppl are now gonna forget about this.
If there was a video, it would be watched millions and millions of times forever and ever.

LBJ knows what he is doing.

  1. If he didn't make a deal out of it I don't think millions of ppl would have seen it. It would have been one of things that a few ppl see and no one cares about. Ill finish this later

  2. True, but The Chosen Won aka MVP aka King James being dunked by a no-name college sophomore is like M.J. being beaten in 1 on 1 by a random CEO.

  3. Exactly, I never heard anything about that two days after the story broke. ESPN now is almost rewarding James though with the top 10 dunks on sc yesterday. Getting dunked on was a typical number 10 joke dunk.

I imagine this dunk being placed right at number 10 and knocking of C-Web's dunk over a running-at-full-speed(rare occurance) Barkeley who had very little chance at getting in the way of that it anyway. There is no way this kid brought the ball back and threw it down on The King. It would only be on there because of the "surprising recent event bonus" that it would deserve.

Nonetheless if Bron made a joke about how that kid is never allowed to be on his pickup team and that Lebron has made it a personal mission to get fifteen posterizes for every one time a player posterizes him, he would have gotten a way better media reaction. It would encourage the fun loving, coolest kid in the frat feel that Lebron has going for him. Now the perception is that he is moving in the direction of the "cool kid who wakes up five hours before school to make sure his hair looks just right." No one want to idolize a guy who micromanages his image.

  4. the video was a joke, it was a pathetic dunk, nothing to make any big fuss about. Had they just left the video instead of throwing a fit, they would have forgotten about it after a day. Instead we have TMZ and ebaumnation getting in fights over videos with millions of hits and coverage in SportsIllustrated and on ESPN over what was nothing that could be considered particularly embarassing...the censorship became a story...ergo, massive miscalculation
